♡ Jesus paid for sins once and for all. If not, It's never at all.
Years ago, when I was in contact with the gospel of grace by new creation church,
I was filled with fear and thought their teachings were warped!
However, interestingly, the 'beauty' school I was in, my vice-principal and the only other christian course mate in my class were both from new creation church. Even the night class teacher was a pastor's wife!
It's definitely more than coincidence that I enrolled with the school.
Had heard that other academys, their instructors can be really slack.
But mine wasn't. Was absolutely fantastic.
Anyway, thank God that during one of the days, my vice-principal shared with me alittle on her background, that she was from a presbyterian church and how she became a member of New Creation Church. It really helped address some of my concerns seeing how relatable her journey had been! Thank God I'm not the only one with those concerns!
Anyway to cut the long story short, I thank God for using Joseph Prince to bless me with the revelation of grace, as well as the people he placed in my path who were a great help to me. However, trust is still in the Lord. Know that if it's not for God's favour & arrangement, none of these blessings would come.
I'm so glad that peace has come and by God's grace, am able to deal with condemnation whenever 'I fall short'.
I'm excited to continue my journey in reigning with God!

It's so good to know and be assured of one's abilities and be reminded that every single one of us are unique & special.
I do not believe anyone is inferior to any other ;)
Have always believe that all were made with a great purpose and destiny to be fulfilled.
Fulfilling our calling can be so simple, from fulfilling role of a child, partner, dream, career, and so on. May not be perfect but to the best we can is good enough.
Anyway,
a little blogging on 2011 countdown:
Tony brought me to westcoast after some random suggestions, when driving.
Couldn't make it to town as the roads(to town) were friggin crowded.
Still, westcoast was sweet.
We were able to catch some good sightings of red fireworks shooting up the sky from boats!
It's also great hearing cheers around us, as family and friends started wishing each other "Happy New Year".
And so our celebration ended after hanging in the jolly atmosphere for a couple more moments before retreating to Tony's vehicle.
So that's our countdown to 2012 for us :)
Hope all of you had a great countdown as well!

Why do we have to feel so inferior
When we're blessed with gifts and talents that only we can deliver
Just because of temporary setbacks and failures
Are we never to shine brightly ever
Shouldn't these setbacks make us stronger

I hope I'm able to make more wise and discerning choices in life.
May not have things figured out always, but believe God's wisdom is always available to me if I'm humble enough to ask.
My present hope is to figure out what I want to do in life.
Have some ideas but am praying.

1. No person and matter shld stop me from pursuing my goals.
2. Humility is indeed a very important virtue. Needed lotsa help these few weeks for case study. Had to deal with e yes-es and no-sss. But everyone was very nice in their replies even when they can't help. (Great to have nice/courteous friends n family! hahs)
3. Hm, do salute my working coursemates. Not easy managing tests, case study, sch n upcoming exams!!
4. Take things easy. It's important to be happy, cheerful n positive.
5. Count my blessings. Know that im very blessed. Have a great mum who knew how to educate and bring bro n i up well. Have a great boyfriend by my side and, thank God for very nice and helpful friends/people he has placed in my life(esp in times of need).

Am so gonna get gd grades n pass well in Jan 2012.

The past week had been a blessed week.
It was because of great devotionals from New Creation Church!
Each and every single devotional spoke directly to my heart.
Here's e sharing:
Day 1, I was mad at God for my parents were both admitted into TTSH. Read that day's devotional and it mentioned that God understands and it's ok if I had insulted him or was rude to him.. He is still willing to embrace me, listen and assure me that I am nt alone in my situation. Felt comforted.
Day 2, felt I let God down badly in an aspect. And the day's devotional reminded me of God's grace and forgiveness, esp about the prodigal son returning to his dad after messing up. God's nature is exactly like the dad! So quick and eager to forgive and welcome us back!
Day 3, yesterday, had a conflict with a coursemate. The day's devotional mentioned about forgiveness. Was amazing. How well written the devotional was. Forgiveness does not come because people deserve it. It's precisely because offenders do not deserve it, that's why forgiveness comes into the picture. In the first place, we ourselves do not deserve God's forgiveness, and yet, he still sent Jesus(his only son!) to die for us while we were still sinners!!
Even though it's great that God does use such channels to speak to us, we do need to bear in mind that God may not work through such avenues all the time.
We will still have to be open to all ways.
